About Phi Delta Alpha

Founded on February 4th, 2002, Phi Delta Alpha is built upon meaningful pillars by our leading Founders. With chapters currently expanding, we empower women of various cultures and backgrounds across Oklahoma. Join us in celebrating our rich history and the bonds we create that last a lifetime.

SISTERHOOD

OUR PILLARS

These pillars represent everything that our sisterhood stands for and strives to be. Each sister has chosen to not only live out these values, but celebrate them in all areas of life.

LEADERSHIP

We are all leaders. From the University to the community - our sisters hold multiple positions that require the best versions of themselves. The sorority provides multiple opportunities to grow into confident leaders. It is yet another vehicle to become leaders and instill the necessary skills of being an active member of a close-knit organization.

PHILANTHROPY

We proudly promote philanthropy – especially our very own cause for Lupus Awareness. Our project We strive to raise funds to continue lupus research while searching for a cure to end this auto-immune disease. We dedicate at least one community service event to Lupus Awareness in April of every year. In 2015, Phi Delta Alpha fundraised over $7,500 for the Lupus Foundation of Oklahoma.

CULTURAL AWARENESS

We encourage our members to learn about their own cultures as well as others. We volunteer at a variety of cultural events such as the Vietnamese Student Association's Lunar Moon Festival. We have had several of our sisters showcase in cultural pageants,  with our sisters winning the crown three times.

SISTERHOOD

We are dedicated to forming a “home away from home” for our members. The bonds formed within the sorority will last far beyond the college years. Our sisters serve each other as friends, mentors, and mentees. The bonds between the sisters guarantee unconditional support and eternal friendship.

OUR PROMISE

We are committed to fostering an
inclusive environment where all individuals are treated with respect and equality, regardless of race, gender, background, or identity.

We stand firmly against discrimination in
any and all forms.
